An awareness of context is an important consideration for any supervisor. Whether you are providing supervision within your organisation or on an external basis, or a combination of the two, having an awareness of the differences in context and the impact of these will help you to develop and maintain an effective supervisory alliance.

This course is designed to provide you with the key skills and knowledge to understand the particular advantages and challenges that can arise from supervising in-house compared with an external or self-employed supervisor, and help you to make the most of opportunities and anticipate and manage challenges.

This course is designed to be completed in approximately 90 minutes. This course is available in English only.

You will have access to the course for six months from the date of purchase.

Take a look at this blog where Chartered psychologist and lead author for the course, Ingrid Manning, discusses how context and situation can affect the experience of the supervisor.
